BMW M5 2000

Sold and Exported

We export many good used BMWs and Alpinas from Japan to Canada, to Taiwan, to Germany, and, if it’s a classic over 25 years old, to the United States.

Many (really most) of these BMWs are left hand drive cars. (Good news for people in my home province of Ontario, in Canada, where insurance for right hand drive vehicles is difficult or impossible to obtain for a reasonable price.)

This silver grey BMW M5 being imported to Canada is a good example of the used BMWs available here from the Japanese used car auctions: a clean, low kilometers, well cared for machine bought at a very good price. It’s a perfect example of why many people want to import a used BMW from Japan: the Japanese owner has treasured and maintained the car. Used BMWs bought here in Japan show clearly the good treatment they receive.

Life in Japan is soft on a super capable vehicle like this M5; this is a car that was made for the sustained high speed driving found in Germany on their autobahns. Here in Japan our motorway speed limits are only 100km/h. No sweat for a BMW M5 with a top speed of 300km/h and 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds. In addition, the mild winters and no salt on the roads in so much of Japan just make life all the better for a car like this. And these are just some of the reasons that a used BMW from Japan is a good deal.
