Scott first came to Japan in 1985 while travelling in Asia and fell in love with the country. He came back to teach English in 1987 and has never looked back. In 2004 he learned of a prize-winning JDM import business plan that sparked him to go through the process of purchasing a vehicle from auction in Japan, exporting it to Canada, and then importing it with his brother-in-law to learn the entire process, and Japan Car Direct was born. JCD's goal is most definitely customer satisfaction and it's done by providing accurate translations, in depth inspections, auction bidding and efficient logistical services, all allowing customers to get the best condition vehicles at the lowest possible prices. Scott also takes advantage of the auctions for his family transportation needs and enjoys golfing, skiing and playing ice hockey in his free time.
