						I worked with Japan Car Direct to find and import a Honda Beat to the US. Mason helped me find a Beat at auction that I liked, and he gave some great insights about which vehicles might be worth pursuing and which ones to skip. For any listings I was interested in, Mason recorded a video translation of the auction sheet, pointing out anything worth noting. The Beat I eventually won needed new tires, and they helped find a set online that I was happy with, and got the tires changed at the port before the car was loaded onto the ship. Before the ship arrived at my local US port, they sent me all the paper documentation I needed to do the customs entry and get it titled+registered in my home state of Texas. For everything they handle and organize on the Japan side, they definitely earn their fee. Overall, I'm super happy with my experience with JCD, and I'm looking forward to making new memories with my new (to me) Beat!

						I imported my Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Adventure Off-Road Package II from Japan to the Turks and Caicos through Japan Car Direct, and the whole process was great from start to finish. I mostly dealt with Mike, who was super helpful and always quick to respond to my questions. Everyone else I communicated with at JCD was great too. 						10 STARS if I could. Mike Nguyen and the group at Japan Car Direct couldn't have made it easier. It was my first time even trying to import a JDM car into Detroit. I looked at two other groups but Mike's group looked the best in the reviews so I went with him. We didn't go the auction route but bought from a dealer and he made it work. The car was inspected, photos sent and I took a leap of faith. I sent MILLIONS of Yen to someone I didn't do business with before. It all was flawless. Mike responded to every question, concern, etc. He introduced me to a broker in SC - Joe Hohenstein @ SavannahCustomsClearance.com and he was fantastic too. Then to pick it up in BALT, I had EVO Transport collect it at the port and bring it in. PERFECT. Honestly, use all 3 of these guys. You won't regret it.
