Awesome experience working with Taylor, he was extremely helpful and patience. 				I bought a 1993 RX7 FD from these guys they are great! Communication was very good, and prompt! Iv has my car now for 6 months and have been loving it! I would recommend emailing them and looking into the options! They are upfront about price and will steer you into the right direction on what the car will take to own! I’m working with Yoshiro to buy another car now! I’m very pleased with the service I received. It can be scary sending lots of money to a person you don’t know for a car you have never seen, but they will come through with everything they tell you they will do!

				I'd been looking to buy an RF series Honda Stepwagon to convert into a mini camper for a while but the UK prices always seemed too high. I had joined a few JDM import sites to get an idea of auction prices and costs (including Japan Car Direct) but just couldn't bring myself to take the next step, it seemed such a risk ! Finally after reading so many good reviews for JCD (and Mathew in particular) I took the plunge and contacted Mathew. After he answered my many questions regarding costs, fees etc I felt confident enough to pay the deposit and start hunting the Japanese auctions for my Steppy. My budget for the Steppy was pretty low (pathetic even !) but I felt Mat still put the same effort into replying to my questions and queries as he would have done if my budget had been into the tens of thousands. The result was I now have a very tidy Stepwagon with lower mileage than any vehicle I've ever owned, I've paid far less for it then I would have done buying in the UK and I've got a bigger budget now for the camper conversion. I wouldn't hesitate to buy through them again, and hope to do so soon.

				Mathew and the fine folks of JCD were pros and I couldn't be happier with my Honda Acty Street. Shipping was easy to follow, they laid out exactly how to go about picking up my van from customs and getting it home was a breeze. Been driving it for a few months now and still purring away. It's scary buying a vehicle sight unseen but they are willing to double check everything before you even put your bid in. The right hand drive is rad and my little baby Racoon gets quite a bit of attention. The only thing to make sure of is check your state laws. Some states are trying to pull Kei trucks and vans off the road. But that is no bearing on JCD. Everything on their end was silky smooth. Would love to buy another couple and have a whole fleet! Even came with original manuals and some artwork from the previous owner's children! Can't put into words how happy I am! JCD rules!

I was able to find my 1 owner Supra at an amazing price one day before the auction and began to panic because I thought I wasn’t able to get in touch that fast to coordinate the bid. But I was wrong and he was able to get right in there and get it. All estimated wait times were accurate, and was pointed in the right direction for every piece I needed after the car was shipped out. He was able to provide a go to for it all. Making this almost as easy as an Amazon purchase. It’s kinda unreal that you can just buy a car from Japan this easily, but these guys made it happen. Thanks again.

Van arrived in better condition than I expected although battery was dead and gas was extremely low. 						I worked with Japan Car Direct to find and import a Honda Beat to the US. Mason helped me find a Beat at auction that I liked, and he gave some great insights about which vehicles might be worth pursuing and which ones to skip. For any listings I was interested in, Mason recorded a video translation of the auction sheet, pointing out anything worth noting. The Beat I eventually won needed new tires, and they helped find a set online that I was happy with, and got the tires changed at the port before the car was loaded onto the ship. Before the ship arrived at my local US port, they sent me all the paper documentation I needed to do the customs entry and get it titled+registered in my home state of Texas. For everything they handle and organize on the Japan side, they definitely earn their fee. Overall, I'm super happy with my experience with JCD, and I'm looking forward to making new memories with my new (to me) Beat!

						10 STARS if I could. Mike Nguyen and the group at Japan Car Direct couldn't have made it easier. It was my first time even trying to import a JDM car into Detroit. I looked at two other groups but Mike's group looked the best in the reviews so I went with him. We didn't go the auction route but bought from a dealer and he made it work. The car was inspected, photos sent and I took a leap of faith. I sent MILLIONS of Yen to someone I didn't do business with before. It all was flawless. Mike responded to every question, concern, etc. He introduced me to a broker in SC - Joe Hohenstein @ SavannahCustomsClearance.com and he was fantastic too. Then to pick it up in BALT, I had EVO Transport collect it at the port and bring it in. PERFECT. Honestly, use all 3 of these guys. You won't regret it.
