Just a quick note to say that the car has arrived at my home – it’s booked in for a mechanical check next week – but from a cosmetic point of view the car looks to be in exceptional condition. I’ve checked the paint thickness across the body and the car does not look to have been repaired anywhere and the paintwork is in truly excellent condition. It’s got four fairly new tyres and the interior is also of a very high standard.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you – I wanted to have the car put through it’s mechanical test and I would like to add that your personal support and patience over the whole process is very much appreciated. It’s a leap of faith purchasing a car through an auction without seeing it in person, let alone doing it on the other side of the world – and so the support you provided made all the difference. Now I’ve actually received the car at home the condition is better than expected – so again thank you for ensuring that I only bid on the correct vehicle. Once the auction was won the process was very smooth, and given the current issues within shipping, it’s been remarkably quick. Receipt of the paperwork both here with me and with Bristol docks was timely very efficient.

Since receipt of the car I’ve cleaned it and had it mechanically checked all over and given it a full service and all fluids changed – this was my choice so that I understand where the car is at in its service cycle. Other than new brake discs and pads the car needed no work at all and passed the UK MOT with no advisories and no outstanding fault codes on the computer. The Volvo specialist was very complimentary about the overall condition.
